"America, We Have a Problem"
One of the biggest challenges is... there is actually TOO MUCH information available to people regarding senior care. Here's an example: a recent Google search "Assisted Living Kansas City" yeilded 59,200,000 results and "Home Care Kansas City" yeilded 319,000,000 results! WOW, what are you supposed to do with that?
Time and time again people say they can’t find the information they need. In the marketplace there is a tremendous amount of information available, however, it is fragmented, nebulous, and it is common to find conflicting information and opinions. For a stressed out caregiver or senior, this is very frustrating and actually further complicates their situation.
Most counties have an Area Agency on Aging or similar resource, however, they do not cross county lines. There are multiple publications listing many providers with not much if any differentiation. There are so many providers to choose from, but which one offers the best products, services, or care? There are a lot of organizations that provide referrals and information, but many don’t work or share with each other, creating information silos.
The Solution
Create a dependable one-stop resource that provides a broad range of information, education, and resources that seniors and their caregivers can depend on.
